Sri Lanka Launches National Environmental Week Today With Focus On Conservation And Cleanliness

COLOMBO (News 1st);The National Environmental Week begins today.

Accordingly, the National Environmental Week will be implemented from today until June 5th.

During this period, programs will be carried out across various sectors, including attitude development, cleanliness, air pollution control, biodiversity conservation, water conservation and beach cleanups.

The National World Environment Day commemoration, held under the theme "Let it Bud" (Dalu Lanna Ida Denna), is scheduled to take place on June 5th under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
