Dr. Sulakshana Jayawardena Appointed Acting Chairman of BOI

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Dr. Sulakshana Jayawardena has been appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Board of Investment (BOI) of Sri Lanka.

The appointment was made by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. 

Dr. Jayawardena is a Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) with a distinguished service of over 23 years. 

He is a senior government official with extensive experience in Public Administration, Policy Formulation and the Management of Large-scale Projects.

Dr. Jayawardena officially assumed duties at the headquarters of the Board of Investment located in the World Trade Center today.
