Two Dead and One Critically Injured in Thelikada Stabbing

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The bodies of a woman and a man with stab wounds were discovered this morning at a house in Telikada, Elpitiya.

Police said the woman was found lying in front of the house, while the man was discovered in a shed behind the house.

Another woman, who sustained serious injuries, is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of the Karapitiya Hospital in Galle.

According to police, a 17-year-old boy was also present in the house at the time of the incident and was unharmed.

The deceased have been identified as a 73-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man.
