Borella Shooting: 3 More Arrested, Death Toll at 2

COLOMBO (News 1st); Police have arrested three additional suspects in connection with the Borella Sahaspura shooting, which left two individuals dead and three others injured.

The incident occurred on the night of August 7, when two assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire at a group of youths at the Sahaspura Grounds. The gunmen fled the scene immediately after the attack.

With the latest arrests, the total number of suspects taken into custody in relation to the shooting has risen to four.

The three injured victims continue to receive treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
