Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath Begins Official Tour Of New Zealand & Australia

COLOMBO (News 1st): Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath is scheduled to leave the island today, commencing an official tour of New Zealand and Australia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the visit, the Minister will hold bilateral discussions with New Zealand Minister Winston Peters and Australian Minister Penny Wong.

Minister Vijitha Herath is also expected to meet and hold discussions with senior representatives, officials, business leaders, academics, and the Sri Lankan community living in those countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further stated that during the Minister's visit, the opening of the Sri Lankan High Commission in Wellington will also take place.
