CCD Recovers Two Revolvers Linked To “Wanathe Duminda”

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) has recovered two revolvers belonging to a suspect known as "Wanathe Duminda," who is currently in detention.

The weapons were found during interrogations conducted with him.

Police stated that he had been behind the shooting that killed two individuals in Sahaspura, Borella.

The woman who brought and supplied the T-56 firearm used for the shooting has also been arrested.

Police further stated that the shooter has also been taken into custody by now.

Based on interrogations conducted with the shooter, the police have also recovered the motorcycle used in the shooting.

The police mentioned that "Wanathe Duminda" is currently being held under detention orders, and the Colombo Crimes Division is conducting further investigations.
