COLOMBO (News 1st): The Urban Development Authority (UDA) has introduced a new digital platform.

Officially launched as 'Mother Lanka Digital', the event was presided over by the Minister of Transport, Highways, and Urban Development, Bimal Rathnayake.

The launch took place at the Ministry Auditorium in Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla.

The primary objective of this initiative is to carry out services and development projects more efficiently and effectively through public participation.

This platform provides an opportunity for stakeholders, experts, and the general public to collaborate in building a strong, sustainable society featuring improved city planning for the future.

By activating the country’s digital economic process, it aims to provide the public with an efficient, transparent, and reliable service.

The platform also facilitates the exchange of ideas in all three languages, allowing the public and professionals to share their views openly regarding sustainable projects, development plans, and regulations.
