Former MP Udaya Gammanpila Provides a Statement Regarding Ranga Rajapaksa’s Death

COLOMBO (News 1st);Former Member of Parliament Udaya Gammanpila provided a statement to the Kuliyapitiya Police this morning (09)

He was summoned by the police regarding a recent public comment he made concerning the death of Ranga Rajapaksa, an interdicted Acting Director of the Department of External Resources.

Speaking at a press conference regarding this matter, Police Media Spokesperson Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) F.U. Wootler said that former MP Udaya Gammanpila had made misleading and false remarks regarding the death of Ranga Rajapaksa.

The Police Media Spokesperson also said that there are plans to produce him before the court in connection with this matter.
