COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has commenced public consultations on the second electricity tariff revision of the year.
The commission noted that these consultations are currently being conducted at the provincial level to gather feedback on the electricity tariff revision of 13.56% from all regions.
The public is open to submit both their suggestions and objections verbally during provincial meetings and in writing to the PUCSL.
Jayanath Herath, Director of Corporate Communications at the PUCSL, confirmed that the commission is expected to announce its final decision before the end of this month.
