UNP Names Committee to Engage in Talks with SJB

COLOMBO (News 1st); The United National Party (UNP) has announced the appointment of a three-member committee to initiate discussions with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).

In a special statement, the UNP confirmed that the committee comprises Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene, General Secretary Talatha Athukorala, and President’s Counsel Roland Perera.

The party emphasized that this decision aligns with its commitment to safeguard Sri Lanka’s multi-party democratic system by bringing all political parties onto a common platform.
