Heavy Traffic Congestion Reported Along Southern And Central Expressways

COLOMBO (News 1st): A heavy traffic congestion has been reported along the Southern Expressway, around the Dodangoda and Galanigama areas, as well as near the Kurunegala exit of the Central Expressway.

Police stated that the congestion has been caused by a large number of vehicles using the expressways to travel to various destinations.

Police added that as an immediate measure to ease the congestion, an additional lane is being opened.
