Suspect Arrested Linked to Overseas Drug Trafficker 'Badowita Asanka'

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Police Special Task Force has arrested a female suspect involved in drug trafficking in Sri Lanka, connected to Badowita Asanka, an organized criminal and drug trafficker currently overseas.

Police said that 1 gram and 870 milligrams of heroin were found in her possession when she was apprehended in Kohuwala.

The operation was carried out by officers of the Special Operations Division of the Police Special Task Force.
