Organized Crime Gang Member ‘Gal Ibba’ Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Gayan Prabath, alias Gal Ibba, a member of an organized crime gang, has been arrested in Bopitiya of Matugama with a quantity of the drug ICE.

The arrest was carried out by officers of the Kalutara Crime Division.

According to police, the suspect had been residing in Dubai for some time and was deported due to various charges.

A mobile phone used for drug trafficking was also seized from his possession.

The estimated street value of the ICE found with the suspect is approximately Rs. 1.1 million.

He is scheduled to be produced before the Matugama Magistrate today.
